The above title purportedly written by Coal City News as an exclusive piece of breaking news is not only false but also juvenile. The story does not in any way add up. It is an insipid concoction of mischievious fiction. It is unmistakably the handiwork of the disgruntled camp of failure. Since Ugwuanyi did not support their governorship bid  for  lack of competence, they have  in their infantile grovelling vowed to shift their  machinery of calumny to Ugwuanyi's side. These sons of Belial are still smarting over the fact that Mbah won the governorship and has been sworn in as the governor of Enugu State. They are in search of pound of flesh to cut. They grope in the dark, and have no faith in the puerile case they instituted at the Election Petition Tribunal. They would rather resort to their  characteristic cheap smear campaigns.

The time to grow up has come for the desperately overambitious and his irresponsible media handlers whose only job is weave malicious lies and cast them on anyone they thought did not support their failed governorship bid.

Their latest fancy is the claim that Governor Mbah hid Ugwuanyi at Governor's Lounge in order to evade the EFCC.This is a most vile and stupid concoction shamelessly hawked by those who failed election and lack the maturity and needed sportsmanship with which to manage failure.

Why would Ugwuanyi hide at the Governor's Lounge when he had vacated the place for the new governor? The fact is that there is no EFCC anywhere looking for Ugwuanyi except the one that exists in their mischievous imagination. Ugwuanyi served the state meritoriously and has no axe to grind in any way. Should the anti-graft agency invite him, he would appear before it, for he has nothing to hide. Invitation does not tantamount to guilt. Any one who served the public may at any time be called to account for their stewardship. Meanwhile the EFCC had at no time invited the former governor.

Meanwhile, the Public Account Committee of the Enugu State House of Assembly in their oversight function gave the Ugwuanyi Administration a clean bill of health. It is their duty to probe the account of the state. They found nothing wanting in any way.  Governor Ugwuanyi read Finance up to postgraduate level. He is a sound manager of funds and had deployed funds available to him to its judicious elasticity in the interest of the state. Clear conscience fears no accusation.

But the ingrate whom Ugwuanyi pulled out of political dungeon should remember that he served in Ugwuanyi's administration for seven years. He has yet to clear himself of the N2 billion he allegedly scammed the 17 local government in Enugu, using his LG News Magazine. He should make himself available to the EFCC to answer for his financial crimes when they look for him.

The said false report from Coal City News does not deserve any attention. Nonetheless, we responded to it lest the less wary would be taken in my such shameful lies targeted at the former governor whose scorecard is a testament of his prudent deployment of the paucity of funds available to him during his administration challenged with economic crunch. Ugwuanyi's many legacies will speak for him. His kindheartedness, humility, love and kindness, his peaceful disposition that rubbed off on the entire state which earned him both international and local awards shall all speak  for him. Let Ndi Enugu discountenance those claims from the morbid political camp. They are all lies from the pit of hell.
