In a move that has brought fresh hope and excitement to many people across Enugu State, prominent PDP Chieftain, Chief Samson Chukwu Nnamani also known as ODERA from Akpawfu, in Nkanu East Local Government Area has officially declared his intention to contest for the position of Governor of Enugu State in the 2027 general elections. Chief Samson Chukwu Nnamani is not a new name in Enugu politics. He is a well respected leader who has gone far and wide in politics, business, and international relations.

Over the years, he has built a strong reputation as a philanthropic giant who genuinely cares for the people. Through his ODERA Foundation, Chief Nnamani has relieved thousands of youths, families, and business owners from serious financial stress and heavy debts. He has paid medical bills for the sick, supported struggling businesses, and given helping hands to many who were almost giving up. Because of these kind acts, ordinary people in the villages and towns now fondly call him “the man of the people.” Unlike many politicians who only make empty promises, Chief Nnamani has been quietly touching lives for a long time. His foundation has become a source of hope for widows, youths looking for support, and families facing hard times.

This practical love for the people has made him very popular at the grassroots level. He understands the pains of the common man because he has always stayed close to them. As a strong and capable opposition leader, Chief Nnamani has what it takes to win the 2027 gubernatorial election against the weak and shivering APC government in Enugu State. The APC-led administration at both federal and state levels has brought nothing but hardship, high cost of living, and suffering to the people.

Many ordinary Enugu residents are tired of the current situation and are eagerly looking for a fresh leader who can bring real change. Chief Nnamani has promised to run a people-centred government that listens to the needs of the masses. He says he will work hard to alleviate poverty, create jobs for the youths, provide affordable housing, security and basic infrastructures. He has also vowed to scrap unnecessary tax burdens that the current insensitive administration has placed on the people, making life very difficult for traders, farmers, and business owners.

The PDP Chieftain made it clear that he is coming to rescue Enugu State from the “Egypt” of bad leadership, poor governance, and cruelty where the present government has imprisoned the people. He believes that with his leadership, a fresh breath of hope, progress, and freedom is possible for every part of the state. He wants to restore the former glory of Enugu so that the state and its people can once again enjoy ease of doing business, reliable power supply, quality education, and proper security. Many political observers and grassroots supporters believe that Chief Samson Chukwu Nnamani is the right man for the job at this critical time.

His deep roots among the people, his experience, and his proven record of helping others give him a very strong advantage. He is seen as a unifying figure who can bring all parts of Enugu together to work for the common good. As the 2027 elections draw closer, calls are growing louder for all PDP members, elders, youths, women groups, and well-meaning people of Enugu State to come together and solidly support Chief Nnamani.

Supporters say that backing him is the best way to end poverty, bad leadership, and cruel governance that have held the state down for too long. With Chief Nnamani’s declaration, a new chapter of hope has opened for Enugu State. Ordinary people who have suffered enough are now looking forward to a better future where government will truly work for them and not against them. The man of the people is ready to serve, and the grassroots are ready to stand with him.
