A prominent chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Samson Chukwu Nnamani, popularly known as ODERA, has officially obtained the party’s Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms for the Enugu State governorship election, formally declaring his ambition for the 2027 race.

Speaking shortly after completing the process, Nnamani described the move as “the official commencement of our collective journey to reclaim Enugu State and usher in a new era of purposeful, people-centered leadership.”

Credible party sources indicate that ODERA is well-positioned to emerge as the consensus candidate of the PDP, consistent with the party’s tradition of adopting unified candidacies in key contests.
