Why Edeoga And His Co- Travellers Are After Governor Ugwuanyi And Mbah

Is anyone still wondering or asking why the aggrieved, displaced and failed Nsukka politicians turned Labour Party members and social media e-rats led by Bar. Chijioke Edeoga are after Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi and Mr. Peter Mbah since the conclusion of the PDP primaries?

Unless one is blind, deaf or hypocritical, the answer is obvious and not far-fetched. Governor Ugwuanyi's offence has nothing to do with his scorecard in office especially in Nsukka area. It is about the fallout of the PDP governorship primaries that didn't favour Barr. Chijioke Edeoga.

Edeoga was the puppet of some disgruntled Nsukka politicians, who have lived and survived on successive governments' patronages wanted to impose Chijioke Edeoga on Governor Ugwuanyi and PDP as PDP governorship candidate using Nsukka General Assembly as a decoy.

It is just because these few known Nsukka politicians led by an ex Minister failed in their mission that they decided to take on Governor Ugwuanyi and Mbah on social media platforms and political fronts since then.

They were the ones that bundled the confused and feeble- minded Edeoga into Labour Party unprepared. They had hoped to leverage on the growing popularity of the Labour Party presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi to market Edeoga.

That has not worked because Obi is not ready to carry Edeoga's baggage. Obi has been a victim of betrayal and treachery. He sees Edeoga as a betrayal and traitor that cannot be trusted. That is why Obi distanced himself from Edeoga's governorship ambition.

When Obi visited Governor Ugwuanyi in Government House recently, Edeoga was no where to be found. He was not even aware that Obi was coming to see Governor Ugwuanyi and he didn't know what they discussed.

The development has remained a source of worry and concern to Edeoga and his social media urchins. Edeoga and his cohorts are embattled and unsettled because of the pending legal tussle between him and Chief Everest Nnaji over the Labour Party governorship ticket.

Ruling on the case was recently shifted to November 9, 2023. It was disclosed that there is anxiety and palpable fear in Edeoga's camp over the pending court case that may go in favour of Chief Nnaji.

The legal encumbrance is giving Edeoga sleepless night. The worst of it is that nobody is ready or willing to stake his or her hardearned money in Edeoga's governorship ambition. All those that promised him of financial support before now are not forthcoming. They are avoiding him like a plague, because of his queer character and toga of ingratitude.

While Edeoga has been struggling to fund his campaign, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah and Governor Ugwuanyi's popularity in the state has been soaring higher.

Mbah is recognized and celebrated globally for his breakthroughs, achievements and innovations in private sector, Edeoga on the other hand is struggling to be noticed on social media by peddling fake stories and articles against Governor Ugwuanyi and Mbah.

In all his political travails and encumbrances, Edeoga sees Governor Ugwuanyi and Mbah as his problems.

He has through his social media writings accused Governor Ugwuanyi and Mbah of being behind his ordeal without any evidence.

My advice to Edeoga and his media urchins is not to waste their energy abusing Governor Ugwuanyi and Peter Mbah, but to deploy their resources and energies in showcasing what they can do by demonstrating their antecedents.

It is by focusing on these, that people may begin to listen to them. The current tactic of abusing and denigrating non-equals will take this doomed contraption to nowhere. Or are we to believe as has been said elsewhere that Edeoga's shadow is chasing him. There is no peace for the wicked and waterloo awaits him ahead.
