The purported Enugu Labour Party governorship candidate, Chijioke Edeoga, is on the loose yet again. This time, Edeoga attacks Governor Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, claiming that Sanwo-Olu's presence at the official commissioning of Pinnacle Oil's facility at Lekki Free Zone in Lagos last week, Saturday 22nd October, 2022, was of no value. "Sanwo-Olu's presence had no value on that event. It made no sense at all," Edeoga said when Edeoga Support Warriors(a support group) led by one Chidi Ugwu paid him a courtesy call at his Golf Estate residence in Enugu on Sunday, 23rd October, 2022.

Edeoga berated Sanwo-Olu for attending the event, saying that Sanwo-Olu was corrupt. "The president distanced himself from that event and only spoke through online zoom platform. If the president attached any importance to that event, he would be there. Sanwo-Olu is corrupt and that was why he attended the event of a fellow corrupt person. Birds of a feather flock together," said Edeoga.

A day later, Ikem Okuhu, one of Edeoga's minions, repeated the same insult on the Lagos State governor in an article he entitled "Pinnacle Oil: the Truth Buhari, others Tell with their Absence that Corruption Shouldn't Be Legitimatized."

Enugu political watchers are ill at ease with Edeoga's unbridled utterances which are unbecoming of someone who aspires to lead a state for that matter. They wonder how Edeoga would ascribe corruption to everyone whereas he is under investigation for using LG News Magazine to scam and defraud the 17 local governments in Enugu. People are saying that Edeoga by his utterances and behaviour apparently is mentally challenged, as no one in their right senses would go gaga, attacking everyone including his benefactors.

It is appalling that Edeoga who aspires to be a governor has no respect for the office he desperately seeks, since he could call Sanwo-Olu as well as Governor Ugwuanyi, his benefactor, such unprintable names. They wonder how Labour Party is prepared to go to the polls with someone with such doubtful sanity.
