When I came across the ludicrous concoction padded with lies from the pit of hell, titled: "Purported Endorsement of Enugu state PDP tainted Guber Candidate Barr. Mbah, Another sham and last kick of a dying horse" and credited to a faceless imbecile nicknamed Akpaka Ike, I recalled the biblical story of "...the voice of Jacob and the hands of Esau". The disjointed work of a moron was obviously sponsored by frustrated leaders of All Progressive Congress, APC and their insignificant governorship candidate, Uche Nnaji.

However, the useless, inconsequential and misleading write-up which can best be described as a garbage further exposed the infirmity of the miscreants occupying the leadership of APC in Enugu State. Instead of thinking of how to ressurcitate the dead opposition party, they are completely swept off by jealousy. The unprecedented acceptance of the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah across the state still remain a mystery to them.

Wrapped in shame and lack of ideology on how to go about their campaign, the APC factional chairman in Enugu State, Ugochukwu Agballa and his purported guber candidate, Uche Nnaji who are still facing serious corruption and embezzlement case leveled against them by members of the integrity group of the party in Enugu State led by the pioneer Vice Chairman of APC in the state, Chief Adulphus Udeh, resorted to media propaganda, and character assassination as their only strategy for engaging the public while trying to confuse the masses in their campaign.

The Peoples Democratic Party has continued to enjoy an extensive acceptance across Enugu State. On daily bases, communities, stakeholders from different political parties, political support groups among others, continue to drum support for, and adopt the PDP governorship candidate, Dr. Peter Mbah as their preferred candidate irrespective of their party affiliation. 

The outrage of Uche Nnaji and Ugo Agballa disguised as Akpaka Ike is borne out of frustration, as their members continue to abandon APC for the ruling PDP. Of course, a mismanaged house divided by itself cannot stand. The inability of Ugo Agballa to harmonize the APC in Enugu State is a clear indication of his incapacitation to be a leader. The truth is that the shoes of APC State Chairman is too large for Agballa to wear. A sane man would have resigned honourably instead of embarrassing himself by exposing his inexperience, arrogance and poor leadership ability.

The imbeciles masked as Akpaka Ike claimed that there are influx of members from APGA, ADC into APC, whereas, the reverse is the case. APC has never been as shattered as it is today under the arrogant rulership of a tyrant called Ugo Agballa who has only succeeded in dividing the party into pieces. Many members of APC have since deserted the party after witnessing the scanty presidential rally where all the stakeholders of the party boycotted the shabby and unorganized event. This is the first of it's kind in the history of APC in Enugu State; indeed, Uche Nnaji and Ugo Agballa have finally killed APC in Enugu State.

In the words of the PDP campaign spokesperson, Barr. Nana Ogbodo, Uche Nnaji and Ugo Agballa "are now like priests without congregation". They can continue to deceive themselves by pretending to stage opposition in Enugu State, but even a political neophyte knows that APC is disjointed and dead under the demented leadership of Ugo Agballa and Uche Nnaji. What else is left of Agballa's leadership without the stakeholders of the party? Your guess is good as mine. Unlike the vibrant and ebullient opposition party formerly led by the immediate past chairman, Dr. Ben Nwoye, APC is now a shadow of itself.

A source close to the APC hooligans revealed that Uche Nnaji never planned to contest election. He is only conniving with the controversial APC chairman, Ugo Agballa  to use the guber ticket to court attention of the PDP governorship candidate for settlement. "This is their usual stock in trade", the anonymous source concluded. Recall that Uche Nnaji once contested Enugu East senatorial election and after emerging winner, he sold the position for huge amount of money and went back to continue his alleged illicit drug business and scam.

How can someone claim to be running for the exalted office of the governor of a state without manifesto? This is laughable. While his counterpart in PDP is busy attending town hall meetings in the 68 development centres of the state, discussing his rich manifesto, Uche Nnaji is busy sponsoring his social media urchins and e-rats to churn out rubbish and unfounded propaganda that holds no water against the incoming Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Mbah. All those falsehood being peddle by the useless APC candidate, Uche Nnaji and his cohorts are meant to distract Mbah from his peaceful and issue-base campaign, but unfortunately for the frustrated gang, the PDP governorship candidate is unperturbed by their ranting and public show of shame.

Bereft of ideas and plan for their inordinate campaign, Uche Nnaji who has been accused severally of engaging in illicit businesses cannot boast of any achievement or track record upon which he can form the base for his campaign, hence he resort to campaign of calumny. A man who claim to be very rich from birth cannot boast of executing a single project for his immediate community. Uche Nnaji could not build an ordinary health center, borehole or renovate a single dilapidated school in his Akpugo community, how can such shameless man parade himself as a governorship candidate?

The 2023 election is not going to be business as usual. The people of Enugu state have made their choice by pitching their tent with Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah and his running mate, Barr. Ifeanyi Ossai, and no amount of lies peddled by the illiterate governorship candidate of APC and his cohorts can change their minds. Moreso, Peter Mbah is not ready to give Uche Nnaji and his errand boy, Ugo Agballa any dime for settlement. The earlier they realize that, the better for them.
