I had thought that by now, the Labour Party governorship candidate in Enugu State, Barr. Chijioke Edeoga, his social media blackmailers and emotional hatchet writers would have learnt some lessons and heeded to my candid admonition to them after their loss at Appeal Tribunal to Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah. It is obvious that they are like stubborn flies that usually and foolishly follow corpse to the grave.

This is not in doubt, considering that they have continued in their known, doomed and crude tactics of blackmailing, cajoling and castigating the judiciary, using all kinds of known names, pen names and pseudonyms to fabricate and peddle spurious, mendacious and frivolous stories, articles and press releases in the media against them.

This is the same judiciary that Barr. Edeoga and his legal team have always rushed to, to seek undeserved justice that has continued to elude them for not having incontrovertible evidence and genuine case against Governor Mbah. If truly the Judiciary is bad the way Barr. Edeoga and his social media minions have always overtly  portrayed and painted them on social media platforms, why are they still seeking justice in their temples? Why?

Why is it that whenever judgment goes in favour of a Labour Party candidate, Barr. Edeoga and his cohorts will hail the Judiciary, but when it goes in favour of PDP candidate, Barr. Edeoga and his emotional supporters will tag them corrupt? These dispositions and attitudes of Barr. Edeoga and his supporters, are enough for Ndi Enugu to know how hypocritical they are and the kind of governance and leadership they would have provided had it been Barr. Edeoga was mistakenly elected.

It is not an overstatement for one to say that missing Governor Mbah's emergence in the last governorship election would have been disastrous and catastrophic for Ndi Enugu, because Barr. Edeoga was not and can never be an option.

Meanwhile, it would be recalled that in my article after Mbah's victory titled "Enugu: Mbah's Appeal Court Victory And Edeoga's Endless Woes", I had reminded and advised Barr. Edeoga to give up, toe the path of honour by congratulating and supporting Governor Mbah to move the state forward, considering that nothing different or meaningful will come out from any further legal move to challenge the Appeal Court judgment at the Supreme Court.

In short and obviously dissecting critically, the judgments of the Tribunal and Appellate court on the matter, it is crystal clear to even a layman that challenging it at Supreme Court will end up as a mere academic exercise that will change nothing for Barr. Edeoga.

Again, the Tribunal and Appeal Court judgments affirming the election of Governor Mbah is a true reflection of the outcome of the election which no amount of persistent social media bullying, blackmailing and cajoling of the Judiciary and Ndi Enugu will change.

This is because of the fact that Barr. Edeoga was outrightly rejected at the polling units by majority of Ndi Enugu on election day is not a subject of debate or discussions. That several attempts to use social media propaganda and thoughtless misinformation to foist Barr.Edeoga on Enugu people by his in-laws of the moribund Nwodo political dynasty and some hired social media hirelings were resisted and have continued to be resisted even by the Judiciary for lack of merit is a testament that Barr.Edeoga was never destined or ordained to be governor by God, because the voice of the people is the voice of God.

Now that Barr. Edeoga and his cohorts have, against all odds, logical reasonings, emotional intelligence and candid advice headed to Supreme Court to challenge the Appeal Court judgment, they are on the last phase of their shadow chasing and building castle in the air that will amount to exercise in futility, because the Supreme Court will rely on precedents and facts to deliver judgment, not emotions and sentiments that Barr. Edeoga and his social media montebanks have been propagating and espousing.

If organized, continous and sponsored social media propaganda and misyarnings by Barr. Edeoga against Governor Mbah and the Judiciary had not earned him victory at the Tribunal and Appellate courts, how did Barr. Edeoga and his trumpeters think that such antics would secure them victory at the Apex Court that does not take fresh evidence which Barr. Edeoga doesn't have any? It is not possible.

Barr. Edeoga and his supporters appeared to be confused, living in self delusion and fool's paradise. Maybe they will realise themselves and wasted efforts after the Supreme Court judgment that will not be different from the voting of Ndi Enugu, their expectations and judgment of the Tribunal and Appellate Court on the matter.  Food for thought for Barr. Edeoga and his cohorts should be the recent warning by Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN) Justice Olukayode Ariwoola to judges, that public opinions and sentiments should not displace the law of the country, urging judges to be impartial in discharging their duties.
