Roads Flag-Off: Nkanu East LGA Chairman Lauds Gov Mbah Over Giant Strides In  Infrastructural Development Across The State

The Nkanu East Local Government Area chairman, who also chairs the Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON) Enugu State Chapter, Hon Sydney Okechukwu Edeh, has applauded Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah on his giant strides in critical infrastructure development across the state. 

Hon Edeh gave the commendation on Wednesday 30th October, 2024 while speaking at the flag-off of multiple roads construction by the governor at Nara in Nkanu East Local Government Area.

He commended the governor for his courage and commitment to building an enduring culture of good governance and ethics in the administration and management of affairs in the state.

"One thing I find soothing about you is that you say something and keep to it which is a rare development these days in our political circles.

"Your unprecedented achievements in just one year, attest to the fact that indeed you came prepared,” he said.

Hon Edeh said that the massive road construction and reconstruction going on in different parts of the state is a clear indication that the governor is determined to transform the state.

"His Excellency, you have through people-oriented programmes and policies, restored people’s confidence in governance in Enugu State" he stated.

According to him, the Governor is not only constructing roads but opening up Nkanu East and Enugu at large to the world. He thanked the governor for remembering the forgotten areas and bringing dividends of democracy to the grassroots.

Hon Edeh, further told the governor that ndị Nkanu East people will continue to support his administration and pray for him at all time.
