It is an axiomatic fact that during the 2023 general elections in Enugu State, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP ) suffered unprecedented betrayal, conspiracy and treachery in Enugu North Senatorial zone. This was  conceived, commenced and orchestrated by members of the party, who were top appointees and beneficiaries of the PDP led government in the state, who out of envy, greed and wickedness worked covertly and overtly for the victory of the opposition Labour Party candidates in the zone to the surprise, disappointment and shock of the PDP leadership in the state, members and candidates in Enugu North Senatorial zone.

These dubious and unstable characters who were PDP members in the day and Labour Party members in the night worked so hard to ensure that Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah fail in the governorship election in Enugu North Senatorial zone. This was after they succeeded in sabotaging PDP candidates' victory in National Assembly using some compromised security personnel brought in by a then serving military general from Igbo-Etiti LGA, who retired immediately after 2023 elections.

They worked for the victory of Labour Party's governorship candidate, Barr Chijioke Edeoga in the election using PDP resources that were given to them with false hope that Barr. Edeoga will win the election. It took the risk, resilience, loyalty, commitment, diligence and resistance of loyal PDP members in Enugu North Senatorial zone for PDP to garner the number of votes in the zone and election that aided Governor Mbah's victory in the governorship election to the shock and disappointment of the PDP moles and saboteurs that worked against the victory of Governor Mbah and PDP in Enugu North Senatorial zone. 

Having seen that  Governor Mbah has emerged victorious in the election and the court, and is doing exceptionally well in governance, these desperate and jobless characters who worked against PDP victory in Enugu North Senatorial zone and had since tried everything to penetrate PDP led government in Enugu State to no avail and are now in desperate need of political relevance and survival,  have shamelessly gathered under one afterthought and belated group called NKPOKOTE NSUKKA, all in a desperate bid to seek undue attention and recognition from the PDP led state government.

Investigations revealed that the group which is made of known PDP saboteurs and moles in 2023 elections in Enugu North zone, which is being led by one Barth Ugwoke from Igbo Eze North LGA and Mr. Emmanuel Ikechukwu Jonathan who served as Special Assistant in Governor Ugwuanyi, who is from Igbo Eze South LGA had concluded plans to organize baseless and facade lecture at Ikenga Hotel Nsukka today titled: "Giving Nsukka A Stronger Voice 
Theme: Nkpokote Nsukka Philosophy, Mindset And Concept For Sustainable Development"  to be delivered by trio of Prof. Osita Ogbu, Prof. Tony Onyishi and Dr. Mrs Sally Aduku Bolouja. 

A source within the group, who pleaded anonymity disclosed that the lecture is a political disguise by the group to claim phantom political relevance, dominance and prominence in Enugu North Senatorial zone and possibly draw the state government’s attention to themselves.

"Unfortunately for them,  the people have known their political gimmick of always hiding under phantom Nsukka unity and development to pursue their selfish political agenda, which have always failed.

"That was how they tried to deceive and hoodwink the people of the zone by making Chijioke Edeoga's governorship ambition an Nsukka project hiding under phantom alleged Nsukka marginalization, blatant lies and propaganda which failed them at last with Edeoga's loss of the election to Governor Mbah. 

"They are at it again with the same and overused wiles that will still fail them simply because the people of Enugu North Senatorial zone know that those behind the arrangee lecture and event have not used their political positions and influence to bring any tangible and quality development and unity to  Enugu North Senatorial zone before now," the source revealed. 

Meanwhile it was disclosed that ahead of the tomorrow's event, there seemed to be discordant tunes, divergent views and infightings within the group which had made majority members to sit on the fence.  

One of the Commissioners in the immediate past administration in the state, who is also a member of the group has in a lengthy trending whatapps message dissociated himself from the group's today event, citing some observations that he is not comfortable with because they are not in tandem with his personal political interests and aspiration, but he alongside other estranged members like retired Major General Chris Eze are being prevailed upon by the organizers not to quit.
