NSUK 8th CONVOCATION: GOV. SULE LEADS POWER LIST AS AMB. MUSA YAKUBU DONATES NEWLY CONSTRUCTED SECRETARIAT BUILDING TO ALMA MATER

...The State of the art alumni secretariat facility will be commissioned by the Nasarawa State Gov. Engr. Abudulahi A. Sule.

As part of an effort to contribute to academic development, Amb. Musa Yakubu, the Protocol Liaison Officer to President Bola Tinubu has Built and Donated a New Alumni Secretariat Building in his alma mater, Nasarawa State University Keffi.

The Facility will be commissioned tomorrow 11th April, 2026 at the Universities main Campus, Keffi, Nasarawa State. 

The occasion is part of the event marking the 8th Convocation ceremony of Nasarawa State University Keffi

The donation comes at a time the University is in dire need of modern infrastructureral development to deepen research and improve the academic environment in the University

The epoch making event is set to attract political heavyweights, The academia, Captains of industry, Entrepreneurs, Royalty, and Men and women from all walks of life.

The building which was single handedly built by Amb. Yakubu is one of his many immeasurable contributions to the University.

As Protocol Liaison Officer to the President, His Excellency Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Ambassador Yakubu Musa stands out as a man of integrity who combines professionalism with deep spiritual discipline. He leads with calmness, serves with dedication, and uplifts others through kindness and respect.

He believes firmly that Buildings, classrooms, laboratories, and equipment- education infrastructure - are crucial elements of learning environments in schools and universities, as there is strong evidence that high-quality infrastructure facilitates better instruction, improves student outcomes, and reduces dropout rates, among other benefits.

Amb. Yakubu is not only a public servant but also a servant of God and humanity. Someones who believes that power is a trust and leadership is an act of service.

NSUK was established under the Nasarawa State Law No. 2 of 2001 as passed by the State House of Assembly under the first democratically elected Governor of Nasarawa State, Governor (Dr.) Abdullahi Adamu but was born and sited in February 2002, at the defunct College of Arts, Science and Technology (CAST), 

It was established with the fundamental aim of providing an avenue for Nassarawa State indigenes and other willing individuals from all walks, to pursue and acquire tertiary education. 

The University caters for both full-time and part-time students. The University also has a Post Graduate Faculty which offers a Masters in Business Administration(MBA) under the department of Business Administration.
