Chief Samson Chukwu Nnamani, a frontline governorship aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has reaffirmed his unwavering loyalty to the party, declaring his readiness to lead a united front toward reclaiming Enugu State in the 2027 general elections.
Speaking at a well-attended Expanded Stakeholders and Structure Engagement held in Enugu, the Coal City, Nnamani expressed firm alignment with key party leaders, including Chief Nyesom Wike and elder statesman Senator Jim Nwobodo, emphasizing the need for cohesion, discipline, and strategic coordination within the PDP.
The high-level engagement drew party stakeholders from across the three senatorial zones, ward coordinators, and members of the fast-growing ODERA political structure. The gathering served as a rallying point for renewed grassroots mobilization and consolidation ahead of 2027.
In a strong show of cross-regional backing, stakeholders who spoke on behalf of the three senatorial zones, including Hon. Innocent Omeje (Enugu North), Ajuluchukwu Oruro (Enugu East), and Engr. Michael Chidozie (Enugu West) expressed their unalloyed support for the PDP and the governorship aspiration of Samson Nnamani. They pledged to work tirelessly to ensure the party reclaims power in Enugu State in the 2027 general elections.
In his address, Nnamani outlined a bold vision anchored on people-centered governance, security of lives and property, and inclusive economic policies. He criticized policies that place undue burden on ordinary citizens, particularly excessive taxation and arbitrary seizures of land and commercial spaces, describing them as practices that undermine public trust and economic stability.
“Our focus is simple,” he stated. “A government that listens, protects, and works for the people. Enugu has the resources and human capital to thrive; we must return governance to its true purpose, which is service.”
He further called for a value-driven leadership culture, stressing integrity, accountability, and respect for the rule of law as essential pillars for rebuilding public confidence.
Nnamani urged party faithful and residents of Enugu State to unite around a shared vision for progress, assuring them that the PDP remains a formidable platform capable of delivering responsive and responsible leadership.
The four-hour engagement featured strategic briefings on political developments at both state and national levels, as well as the unveiling of structured plans for sustained grassroots engagement. The event concluded with a strong show of unity, as participants echoed calls for collective action and a renewed commitment to restoring people-focused governance in Enugu State.
