We have time and again been treated to many calumnious video clips coming from the APC and the Labour Party in Enugu State, attempting without success to besmear the image of the PDP governorship candidate in Enugu State, Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, with all manner of false allegations most of which are infantile and stupid.

Anybody who watches such clips do so to be amused at the insipidity, childishness and levity with which the said opposition handles the serious business of politics and the electioneering campaigns; otherwise, how does anyone reasonably come to terms with such imbecilic display of weakness? Much of the idiocy lies in the fact that they have continued to do the same thing time and again, expecting to squeeze out from their stony frivolities any drop of favourable response from the people of Enugu State unfazed by such shenanigans. If anything, the opposition has continued to receive droplets of rejection and curses from the people of Enugu State who know the credibility of Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, the incoming governor of Enugu State. No one ever takes such invidious contents seriously. They are rather scorned at as the vile creations of disgruntled and desperate overambition now wasted as the eagle would waste the raven by soaring higher into the sky. And indeed Peter soars like the eagle he is.

After the Ego Ndi Enugu video clip which rather boomeranged and inflicted injuries on their creators, we had expected those licking their wounds to serve as a deterrent to others who would learn how not to touch the anointed of the Lord. Adamant as ever, the fools would rush to the place where angels fear to the tread. We are witnessing another of such tactless contents where a written content is being read in the computer-manipulated voice of a white man, depicting Peter Mbah as having baggages (sic) and having been an "EFCC patient," a term used today at 6pm by Robert Ngwu, the State Secretary of the APC in Enugu State on Urban Radio Prime Times. We need not look elsewhere for the source of the mischievous video clip being circulated on the social media. One begins to wonder what the APC in Enugu State stultified, balkanized and deserted under Ugo Agballa's watch hopes to achieve with such imbecilic hallucination. The fact is that even callers to the programme chided Robert and the state treasurer of the party for the idiocy of unnecessary name-calling and attempts to taint the image of Peter, an infantile exercise which shall in no way rev up the fortunes of the moribund APC in Enugu State.

Bereft of ideas about governance and the economy, the opposition in Enugu State now resorts to phantom creations and makes fictions of politics. The people of Enugu State have listened to Peter and have come to accept him as the best candidate who has a clear roadmap to economic and total wellbeing of the Enugu people, and so would not be distracted by such show of indolence and poor attitude to politics, playing it the dirty way. The people know he who has character, capacity and competence to lead. They know candidates who are 419 kingpins; they know the candidate who is a drug baron, who has done nothing but cheat and dupe people all his life, whose every breath is deceit; whose marriage is also fraudulent. Enugu knows candidates who are desperate without any clue about governance and the economy. They know these things and would not be deceived by idiotic video clips stupidly contrived by nitwits who had thought to whittle down the high reputation, goodwill and acceptance Peter commands among the Enugu electorate.

The good news is that no one is deceived. Neither APC nor Labour Party can upstage the PDP in Enugu State. At the appropriate time, the lines shall fall in pleasant places.
