Whoever holds any reservation about the person of Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, the governorship candidate of the PDP in Enugu State, would drop it as one would a hot iron should they encounter Peter. The soft-spoken oil magnate is a man of creative ideas. He is a serial optimist with pragmatic strategies to translate to reality seemingly difficulty and unthinkable tasks. Peter has a large heart to contain his deep and large thoughts. Like the biblical Caleb, Peter has a can-do spirit. He thinks it possible anything that can be expressed thoughtfully.

Taking it from the inception of the gubernatorial primaries, some daredevil media urchins shrivelling from Chijioke Edeoga's camp had run series of false campaigns of calumny against Peter. Edeoga did everything possible to impugn the person of Peter Mbah with all manner of contrived fictions and unfounded silly allegations. Chijioke wrote some of the false essays by himself and would ask his minions to escalate them. Whoever told Chijioke his warped sense of politics of vilification was headed for anywhere belong to the moon. In the 21st Century leadership, what is called to question is the truth and the value proposition one has got. As a matter of fact, Edeoga has absolutely nothing to offer except hide his dirty political self at the back of Peter Obi, thinking he can deceive the Enugu electorate.

Good a thing, Peter Mbah's credibility, urbanity, relationship saviness, knowledge, wisdom, understanding leadership finesse, creative afflatus emotional intelligence, resourcefulness, vision, character and capacity have in the course of his engagements on issues yielded themselves to the understanding of the people. That is why Peter Mbah's acceptance rate within the Enugu political corridors is astronomical and his fame noised abroad. The people of Enugu State are thankful to Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi and the PDP for the gift of Peter and his highly and equally celebrated cerebral running mate, Barr. Ifeanyi Ossai, himself a strategist of no mean dimension with a large heart to contain greatness and the about-to-be-unleashed large economy of the humongous $30 billion GDP size.

Peter had first healed Edeoga of his mischievious character when after the primaries, Chijioke encountered him. The fawning Chijioke had eaten back his acerbic words and genuflected with awe of the huge intelligence and wisdom Peter embodies. He quickly had called the media team he had hijacked to come and listen to Mbah as what he heard and saw was too much for him to carry alone. The media team led by Reuben Onyishi was overawed. They said they did not know it was such an intelligent fine young man that Edeoga had misled them to write rubbish about. Chijioke apologized to Peter and asked the already healed media team to adopt Peter as their candidate and give him maximum support. 

Eager to make amends, Edeoga quickly summoned a meeting of all his support groups and mandated them to support Peter Mbah, saying that Peter was far better than himself. Chijioke also made a press statement, saying he had pledged total support to Peter. Chijioke Edeoga was not to blame. The thing greater than Nte was caught in Nte's trap. His doubt and mischief were healed on an encounter with Peter. He carried the good news, the gospel of Peter Mbah, and spread it to his supporters. Such supporters as Reuben Onyishi have drunk from the sweet flagon, and shall never thirst again. Edeoga and his supporters were completely healed before another sickness of desperate overambition infectiously transferred to him by the Nwodos mortally hit sore. Edeoga is now licking his wounds to his shame and regret. Greater shame awaits him at the polls, even as some of those who nudged him to political brinkmanship have left him in the lurch.

During the unveiling of Peter Mbah's manifesto in October at Godfrey Okoye University, Enugu, Peter Mbah spoke extempore for close to three hours dissecting the economy of Enugu State with expert know-how. Everyone at the auditorium was thrilled and enthralled at the masterful way Peter handled the discourse. He spoke economy; he spoke technology; he spoke disruptive transformation; he spoke the language of modern leadership. Alas! It was clear the PDP had made the philosopher king by the choice of Peter Mbah. With Peter, we have come to agree that knowledge is righteousness and ignorance a sin. Such sinners like Chijioke Edeoga who know nothing about what leadership and governance entail, but who dabble into the race have got to receive cure from Peter and cease to ail.

The business world today at a town hall interactive meeting with Peter Mbah sang the praises of Peter and the renewed hopes of a better Enugu State in all economic and business sense. Whoever had any reservation before now, dropped it. Whoever, harboured any prejudice against Peter, repented of it and purged themselves of such infestation with dirt of the mind. It was a nodding of heads of approval as Peter once again revealed his proposed social contract with the people of Enugu State. The Enugu Chamber of Commerce was overawed; captains of industry at the gathering were graciously pleased and the politicians became thoughtful and sober. The audience had drunk largely from Peter's fountain. It was a pleasant experience to be taught the way of transcendental leadership and everyone who heard Peter was healed body and soul.
