Devastated by the recent overwhelming support and rousing reception that greeted the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and its candidates, in Owo, Amagunze, Mburubu and Nara, all in Nkanu East Local Government Area of Enugu State, the sleepless and restless governorship candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) hurriedly sponsored a reception for himself at Ozalla in a desperate bid to get his people endorse him to show that the people of Ozalla were in support of his candidacy.

The APGA candidate, a source close to him revealed, had been battling with his failing ambition and how unpopular he was fast becoming among the Ozalla people, and in order to save his face, quickly visited some elders in the community in an attempt to buy them over to endorse him. The elders assured him they’d be at the venue to show him solidarity.

Mr. Frank, intending to create a false impression that his Ozalla people were rooting for his candidacy, brought out an old Sienna bus and got it branded, handed it over to the community to present it to him as a gift.

The community was, however, playing along Frank’s delusion and told him to go and sleep with the promise that St. Paul Primary School, Ozalla, would be filled to brim even if it required them to hire crowd from neighboring communities.

Gullible Frank Nweke went into hibernation, expecting that the bribe he had given to the elders would save his face.

Sadly, to his chagrin, Frank arrived the venue and met a paltry of less than 300 people there, mostly, children playing around. Ozalla eligible voters currently stand over thirty thousand.

Devastated Frank was livid that he had been scammed and rejected by those he gave money to hire crowd and buy endorsement.

His people had deliberately stayed away from the venue because of his pedigree of uncharitable misery and selfishness when he was a minister.

Reports had it that Frank found it difficult to help people outside his immediate family. For the people of Ozalla, it’s a payback time and to remind him of his hard-hearted record when he held sway in government.

Recall that Frank was a mere job-seeker when Dr. Chimaroke Nnamani, former governor of the state, picked him up from the street and made him his chief of staff.

Our source disclosed that Frank is angry and has vowed to go after those that ate his money without delivering on their promises.

Our further interrogation from eligible voters from Ozalla pointed that Frank would be roundly defeat in the community, including his polling unit by the ruling party.
