The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the March 2023 poll, Dr. Peter Mbah have rolled out plans to ensure that mother and child hospital and mega school projects, identified as some of the people-oriented programmes of Dr. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi led administration are extended to the senatorial districts that are yet to partake in the initiative.

Articulating good policies, Dr. Peter Mbah if elected governor, will ensure a popular mother and child hospital to be initiated by his administration to consolidate and further expend the type3 health care system founded by the incumbent government is built in all the senatorial districts in the state in line with the focus of the government while initiating the Programme.

Peter Mbah's administration when inaugurated next year will ensure schools that are yet to meet the standard of his vision on government initiative in millennium compliant mega schools in the state will be upgraded.

Relying on the experience he had acquired as part of his being in the public and private sector businesses for 28 years, Peter Mbah is ready and well prepared in determining to make what he described as profound statements with governance.

According the industrialist, and entrepreneur and former Chief of Staff, his position as an integral part of his plans allowing the private sector driven economy in the state to provide insight into what could be done to further raise the bar of governance beyond the high level the Dr. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi government has driven it.

Peter Mbah identified the challenges of the time demand that the best hand is engaged to address them, adding that he will rely on his understanding of the state and its people as well as his experience as a private sector excelled entrepreneur and industrialist over the years to identify targets and drive same. Insisting that legacies of previous governments in the state will be protected, the PDP candidate submitted that he will use the government to pilot well the affairs of the state, even as he volunteered that he has perfected a blueprint for job creation and the growth of the state's economy to the desired position.

There is every clear ideas of what Dr. Peter Mbah want to achieve in Enugu, with his clear policy of what he want to do especially in the area of job creation and the economy", his manifesto maintained. In another interesting developing event in Enugu over the week, the labour party supporters in the state have thrown their weight behind the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) standard bearer in the election, Dr. Peter Mbah. The party expressed confidence in the ability of Mbah to deliver on his electioneering campaign promises at a meeting the PDP standard-bearer held with the Enugu business community in the state at ESCIMA house, state capital.

Present at the meeting are the supposed Chijioke Edeoga's supporters who turned out to reject their former principal, citing his incompetence, insensitive and his  inability and lack of focus on the modern administration business, especially what Enugu state is in desirous at the time. They admonished Peter Mbah to be steadfast and never allow Chijioke Edeoga's social media ranting distract him from achieving the well-purpose plans he has envisioned for the state.
