Friday, 31st March, 2023 will remain memorable in the hearts of Peter Mbah's supporters as it was indeed a celebration gallow, and moment of jubilation at the country home of Rt. Hon. Paul Osondu Nnajiofor (Ononenyi na Owo).

Nnajiofor, who is the Founder, Chairman, Board of Trustees of Solidarity Alliance Support Group for Peter Mbah and Ifeanyi Ossai organized a well attended reception for members of the support group to celebrate the electoral victory of Dr. (Barr.) Peter Ndubuisi Mbah and Barr. Ifeanyi Ossai, the Enugu State Governor-Elect and Deputy Governor-Elect respectively.

Speaking to newsmen at the event, Nnajiofor expressed great joy and happiness over the success of Peter Mbah and the People's Democratic Party, PDP at the 2023 elections in Enugu State. He described the emergence of Mbah and Ossai as the will of God and the choice of the masses, stressing that Mbah is the best and most qualified for the onerous task of leading Enugu State forward. 

"We are here this 31st of March 2023, to celebrate the goodnews of the election of our principal and hero, Barr. Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, who is now the Governor-Elect of Enugu State. Our joy is now complete that we went through the campaigne and succeeded; we went through the election, and he (Peter Mbah) was declared Governor-Elect on the 22nd March. And yesterday, 30th of March, 2023, INEC presented the Certificate of Return to our Governor-Elect. Our joy is now complete because the process is now complete. The next is the inauguration on the 29th of May, 2023", Nnajiofor said.

The Chairman, Board of Trustees of Solidarity Alliance Support Group for Peter Mbah and Ifeanyi Ossai further stated that "we have every reason to thank God. Our members across the 17 local government areas, patrons, matrons, central working committee members, local government coordinators, and ward executives are gathered here to thank God for granting us our desires. It has been our desire, vision and we have been involved since February 8th, 2022, a year and 2 months today.

"We have been working hard because we saw something in Peter Mbah. Peter Mbah we saw was a divine gift, and he is still a divine gift to Enugu State. He has the capacity, competence, compassion and character; he has the mental stability and economic strength to turn Enugu State around for good. So, because we discovered that Peter Mbah is a divine choice, all of us keyed into that project. Solidarity Alliance became one of the foremost support groups since last year and by God's grace, we are still sustaining the vision and movement till date.

"We went through the 17 LGAs; we went through the 260 political wards; we went to the 4,125 polling units in Enugu State. We went round. We also participated in the pre-election canvassing and sensitization, door-to-door, window-to-window, family-to-family, 'onokoro-to-onokoro', market-to-market, and today, we are celebrating, rejoicing, that is why you see the crowd here. Everybody has come to say 'thank you Jesus' that Peter Mbah has won. Finally, on behalf of Solidarity Alliance Support Group, We want to assure Ndi Enugu that Peter Mbah is the man", he concluded.

The well attended event attracted youths, women, members of the support group from across the 17 LGAs of Enugu State, politicians, friends, well wishers as well as some members of the PDP Campaign Council.

Rt. Hon. Paul Osondu Nnajiofor (Ononenyi na Owo) who hail from Owo Community in Nkanu East LGA is the Member Representing Nkanu East State Constituency at the Enugu State House of Assembly.
