No wonder on July 10, 2025, Capital City University Kano, in collaboration with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), organized a workshop on Substance Abuse Prevention. The event featured two insightful sessions: *"Substance Abuse Prevention" delivered* by Dr. Rekpene Bassy, and "Science-Based Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment Approaches" presented by Dr. Aminu Shehu Ibrahim, a renowned Consultant Psychiatrist. Additionally, NDLEA delivered an impactful presentation on the "War Against Drugs Abuse," highlighting the dangers of substance abuse and the importance of prevention.

The workshop equipped the students with the knowledge and skills to make informed decisions about their lives, and provided valuable insights into the strategies for prevention and treatment of substance abuse. Substance abuse can have devastating effects on individuals, families, and communities. By educating our students about the risks and consequences, we're empowering them to make choices that will positively impact their future.
