Grammy Award-winning artist Burna Boy has spoken about his decision to convert from Christianity to Islam, describing it as part of his ongoing quest for spiritual enlightenment and a deeper understanding of life.

In a recent interview with streamer Playboymax, the “City Boys” crooner explained that his exploration of different religions has only deepened his curiosity rather than brought him clarity.

“Growing up, I was a Christian and then I converted to Islam. It’s like I’ve studied it all, but I’m still out here trying to find out what is really going on. The more I research, the more confused I get,” Burna Boy said.

The singer noted that his spiritual journey remains personal and evolving, emphasizing his desire to discover truth beyond the confines of organized religion.

His comments come amid a growing wave of public figures in Nigeria opening up about their spiritual transformations.
