A political stakeholder in Enugu State, Samson Chukwu Nnamani, has called for a shift toward trust, transparency, and result-oriented leadership as the state prepares for the 2027 elections.
Nnamani, in a statement emphasised that the future of Enugu State must be anchored on accountable governance rather than what he described as “empty promises.” He stressed the need for leadership that prioritises measurable development and responsiveness to the needs of the people.
According to him, effective governance should involve active engagement with citizens across all levels, from rural communities to urban centres.
He noted that residents of the state deserve a government that listens, communicates openly, and delivers tangible improvements in their daily lives.
The political figure further urged voters to make informed choices in the next election cycle, highlighting 2027 as a defining moment for the state.
He said the electorate would have to decide between maintaining the status quo and embracing a new direction focused on inclusive governance and sustainable development.
Nnamani expressed optimism that collective effort and responsible leadership could reposition Enugu State for progress, adding that a people-driven approach remains key to achieving lasting development.
