Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON), has heartily congratulated His Excellency, Barr Peter Ndubuisi Mbah of Enugu on the conferment of SUN Governor of the Year Award on him.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Chairman of the association in Enugu State, Hon Sydney Okechukwu Edeh and made available to the press.

According to the statement, "This is a well-deserved honour accorded to our Governor who has demonstrated competence and character in leadership, governance and service to Ndi Enugu. 

"It is noteworthy that this award is in recognition of his outstanding and sterling performance in all sectors of the state economy within few months in office.

"Since he took over the mantle of leadership,  Governor Mbah's pragmatic approach to governance has attracted commendations from within and outside the state.

"We are certain that this award will spur him to greater achievements in his service to the good people of Enugu State. 

"Once again, I congratulate our leader and Governor on this most befitting recognition of his contributions to the development of our beloved state.
