Management and students of the University of Nigeria, and members of the public have expressed their readiness to welcome the Chief Executive Officer of Pinnacle Oil and Gas Ltd and governorship flagbearer of Enugu State Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Dr. Peter Ndubuishi Mbah as he sets to honour the university’s invitation to deliver a lecture on leadership in modern times.

The lecture, whose focus is on leadership, youth and contemporary times, is slated to hold tomorrow, Saturday, 24th September, 2022 at the prestigious Justice Mary Odili Moot Court, Faculty of Law, University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus, (UNEC).

Speaking with our correspondents, some management and students of the university said they would be storming the event to listen to “the man who built his business conglomerate from scratch to a dominant player leading in a critical sector of the national economy due to his stellar leadership and uncanny innovation in the industry”.

They said they were interested in the lecture because Mbah has been able to redefine leadership and its meaning in the country where “leadership is already a scarce resource among our political leaders”.

“We are interested to learn the new techniques of leadership, and we believe with Mbah’s pedigree, he has something spectacular to offer in the lecture,” a Professor in the university said.

When our correspondents visited the Institute of Management and Technology (INT), Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT), the Godfrey Okoye University and the Peaceland College of Education to ask their views on the much anticipated lecture, most of the students who spoke said they were happy about the choice of Mbah as the guest speaker, adding that youths as the target audience of the leadership lecture would serve as catalyst for the regeneration of a new dawn.

In a related development, members of the public who spoke to our reporters have said that despite the target audience being the youths, the lecture would be of immense benefit to everyone as leadership is not limited to any class.

The lecture, scheduled to hold at 10AM would attract the presence of dignitaries and experts from different walks of life.
