Having realised that they have no genuine and substantive case against the Enugu Governor elect, Barr. Peter  Ndubuisi Mbah at the tribunal, the trio of former Minister, Chief John Nnia Nwodo (Jr), former Minister of Power, Prof. Barth Nnaji and Labour Party governorship candidate, Barr. Chijioke Edeoga, have resorted to taking Labour Party House of Assembly members elect to a secret oath of allegiance at a shrine in Abia State, where they all took oath of loyalty and secrecy on how to frustrate Mbah's government starting with the election of the Principal Officers of the House of Assembly.

A source who was privy to the secret oath-taking, but pleaded anonymity disclosed that the exercise took place in the wee hours of the night at a powerful shrine in a forest near Aba in Abia state, where they spilled their bloods, mixed them and drank, pledging unity, loyalty and support for each other ahead of the inauguration of a new government in Enugu state.

"The Labour Party members elect, who also took oath of allegiance for the trio of Nwodo, Nnaji and Edeoga assured them of their unalloyed loyalty and submission.

"They promised their godfathers that they will use the instrument of House of Assembly as a majority party to frustrate Mbah's government. It was after the oath-taking that they shared and zoned the principal officers positions. They zoned the office of the Speaker to Enugu North Senatorial zone and that of Deputy Speaker to Enugu East Senatorial zone,"  the source revealed.
