...donates fifteen sets of Public Address System to PDP

The Executive Chairman of Nkanu West LGA, Hon. Uchenna Callistus Ejim has charged the people of Nkanu West LGA to vote for all the candidates of People's Democratic Party, PDP in the forthcoming 2023 general election. The Council Chairman who made the call during the monthly local government PDP meeting held at the party secretariat, Agbani, said "the good news is that all PDP candidates from top to bottom remain the best choices and most qualified for the respective offices they're vying for.

Ejim while donating fourteen sets of Public Address, PA System to the fourteenth PDP ward executives in Nkanu West LGA, and one for the local government party executives, making it a total of 15 PA Systems, noted that the essence is to ease communication stress during political meetings and gatherings.

He called on all the PDP ward Chairmen to make good use of the device during the forthcoming electioneering campaign, by using it to preach the good news and win souls for PDP.

The Council boss informed party faithfuls that he will visit all the fourteen political wards to monitor the next PDP ward meetings coming up on Saturday, 20th August, 2022 to observe the level of mobilization in various wards.

Ejim assured PDP members in Nkanu West LGA that the party has made adequate plans and preparation that guarantees total victory for PDP in 2023 election.

"We are lucky to have the best leadership of PDP in Enugu State led by Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, who is leaving no stone unturned in providing quality leadership and infrastructural development in the state.

"Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has done noble by giving us the best governorship candidate in the person of Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah. All we need to do in appreciation is to commit all our human and material resources to ensuring that our brother, Barr. Peter Mbah wins the election come 2023.

"Moreso, in doing the above, we must not forget to cast all our votes for Senator (Dr) Chimaroke Nnamani, Hon. Nnolim Nnaji, and Rt. Hon. Iloabuchi Aniagu to represent us in the Senate, House of Representatives, and House of Assembly respectively.

"In addition to his outstanding representation of Enugu East Senatorial zone at the Red Chamber, our leader, Distinguished Senator Chimaroke Nnamani as we know has been doing a great job in unifying PDP and moving the party forward in Enugu State. We shall make him proud by demonstrating total party loyalty in the coming election".

Earlier in his speech, the former Member of Federal House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Chief Ikemba U.S.A Igwesi advised PDP members not to fall for the trick employed by other political parties in their weak effort to dislodge PDP in Enugu State. He pointed out that those who nurse the idea of voting for PDP at the state level and other parties at the federal level are committing what he called "political blunder", stressing that "politics is a party affair and it is a taboo for us to abandon candidates we all elected during PDP primaries, convention and vote for candidates from other parties".

Describing the Enugu State PDP Governorship flagbearer, Barr. Peter Mbah as a messaiah who is coming to ameliorate the suffering of his people, Ikemba who commended the remarkable achievement of Barr. Peter Mbah in building Pinnacle Oil & Gas Ltd from scratch to become the leader of the downstream sector of the Oil and Gas industry in Nigeria, stated that "for the first time, Enugu State is about to produce a technocrat, an entrepreneur as a governor, and we are pleading with Barr. Mbah to replicate the Pinnacle Miracle in Enugu State", Igwesi said.

Reminding the people that Enugu State has been very comfortable and peaceful with PDP from 1999 till date, Igwesi who was a former Majority Leader of Enugu State House of Assembly, assured the them that "with patience, Nigeria will one day produce a President of South-East extraction under PDP."

Commending the party members and stakeholders who attended the meeting, the Chairman of PDP in Nkanu West LGA, Hon. Michael Nnamoko expressed his joy over the level of support the party has been receiving from the Council Chairman since the inception of his administration. Nnamoko assured Hon. Uchenna Ejim that PDP executives at the local government and ward level will not disappoint the party during 2023 election.

Other major stakeholders who attended the monthly local government PDP meeting include the Deputy Chairman of Nkanu West LGA, Hon. Chijioke Oscar Ngene, PDP State observers led by Hon. John Ofor and the Enugu East zonal youth leader, Hon. Ozokwor, Member of PDP State Disciplinary Committee, Barr. Emeka Norman Igwesi (PhD), among others.
