Paris Saint-Germain star Ousmane Dembélé has been named the 2025 Ballon d’Or winner, securing football’s most prestigious individual accolade at Monday night’s ceremony in Paris.

The French international enjoyed a stellar 2024/25 campaign, recording 35 goals and 16 assists across all competitions. His brilliance was instrumental in PSG’s historic treble-winning season, which saw the club clinch its first-ever UEFA Champions League title, alongside triumphs in Ligue 1 and the Coupe de France.

For the 28-year-old forward, this recognition represents the crowning achievement of his career, a remarkable turnaround after years plagued by injuries and setbacks.

Dembélé’s triumph also underlines PSG’s rising dominance on the global stage, coming in the same year the club swept major trophies and earned a place in the Ballon d’Or Team of the Season.
