NKANU WEST LG CHAIRMAN ATTENDS APC LOCAL GOVERNMENT MEETING, URGES MEMBERS TO OBTAIN PARTY MEMBERSHIP CARDS

The Executive Chairman of Nkanu West Local Government Area, Hon. John Chukwuma Ogbodo, today attended the All Progressives Congress (APC) Local Government meeting, where he addressed party stakeholders and members on key issues affecting the party at the grassroots.

In his remarks, the Chairman advised all party members who are yet to obtain their APC membership cards to make conscious efforts to do so, stressing that proper registration is vital for effective participation and the overall strengthening of the party structure within the local government.

Hon. Ogbodo also used the opportunity to appreciate His Excellency, the Governor of Enugu State, for his purposeful leadership, commitment to good governance, and sustained support for grassroots development. He reaffirmed the unflinching support of Nkanu West Local Government Area for the policies and programmes of the present administration.

The meeting was attended by top local government officials, including the Deputy Chairman, Hon. Friday Nnam, and the Secretary of the Local Government, Hon. Onochie Igweshi.

Also present were several prominent stakeholders and party leaders, among them Hon. Iloabuchi Aniagu, Member representing Nkanu West Constituency in the Enugu State House of Assembly; Hon. Chief Nwabueze Ugwu; Chief Barr. Onyemuche Nnamani; Dr. Amaka Ngene; Engr. Frank Nnaji, and other critical stakeholders.

In their various remarks, the stakeholders unanimously pledged their support for the re-election of His Excellency, the Governor of Enugu State, expressing confidence in his vision and ongoing developmental strides across the state.

The meeting concluded on a high note, with renewed commitment by party leaders and members to work collectively towards strengthening the APC in Nkanu West Local Government Area.
