In keeping to his campaign promises, the Executive Chairman of Nkanu West LGA, Hon Uchenna Callistus Ejim has commenced a total renovation of Orjiagu Health Center health, Agbani.

The health facility has been in a very bad state for a long time, thereby making it difficult for people of the area, to access quality healthcare.

Ejim, while on a working visit to the centre decried the poor state of the public healthcare center and assured the people of the area that his administration will leave no stone unturned to see that Nkanu West is transformed.

Recall that the administration of Uche Ejim is also constructing a 3.7km Asphalt road with double drainage channels at Obinagu Uwani Community, Akpugo. According to information from Nkanu West Town Engineer, Samson Ugwudike, "the construction of the drainage channels will be completed this week, and comprehensive earth work will commence immediately while also finishing the underlying seven reinforced culverts on the road".

Ejim will be the first Council Chairman of Nkanu West LGA that will commission an asphalt road with drainage channels in less than 2 years in office, by the time the road project is completed.
