In a recent show of shame by the members of the opposition parties, particularly, Mr. Chijioke Edeoga of the Labour Party, Mr. Frank Nweke Jnr of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Engr. Uche Nnaji and Ugochukwu Agballah of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and their political minions, that was designed to glorify politics of bitterness, do-or-die political ambition, character assassination and acerbic malignancy resulting from self-defeatism, frustration and psychotic depression, it was obvious that evil is becoming a tradition because a deterring action has been refused to be taken in the name of democracy and freedom of speech. However, it’s the law that this freedom is not absolute or conclusive without limitations.

Like an erudite scholar and prolific philosopher, Barr. Nana Ogbodo, once noted; “When evil men conspire, the good men combine”. We’ve, therefore, heard of their gang up, desperate conspiracy against a man destined to bring hope, light and succour to the people of Enugu State. This battle is not all about Peter Mbah; it’s a battle between light and darkness. It’s a battle between the people of the state and a few men of darkness. Light, assuredly, will always triumph over darkness.

Hence, from the trail of their callous antecedents, one will rightly submit that it’s customary of the opposition parties to resort to unending vicious cycle of attacks, bestial fabrication of falsehood and unrestrained fallacies in wrecking havoc or running down their perceived enemies. The unstable drug addict, Agballah, Frank and Edeoga have criminally gained notoriety in using fake accounts, faceless groups, and hired bootlickers to ravage the character and images of law-abiding citizens. This is their stock-in-trade. It’s not surprising that they came together to device evil against the state. It’s the conspiracy of serial failures which will soon be dismantled by the people of Enugu State at the polls. To this end, it’s expected that after the victory of the ruling party and Dr. Mbah in the state, they’ll resort to suicide borne out of frustration, desperation and depression. That’s the fate that waits evil men.

The virulent signs of dying men with dying inordinate ambitions will continue to follow them. It would be recalled that before the May 25, 2022 Enugu State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP’s) primary elections, Edeoga shot himself into the orbit of fake news, churning out defamatory contents that got sensible citizens wondering how desperate and obsessed the former commissioner was for political power. Yet, Frank had, ab initio, drawn the battle line when he saw that PDP would never allow himself fly its gubernatorial ticket due to his dark pedigree and misery while in public offices. One couldn’t have regarded Nnaji of the APC as a serious candidate saves the fact that the unseen hand from Imo State was assuring him of supreme court abracadabra after the general elections.

In their evil conspiracy, they hired lapdogs, recruited social media bandits, embroiled themselves in unnecessary wars they would never win, and get entrapped in messy politics of desperation. But all their antics had always ended in tears for them and their fellow rogues. For Edeoga, with the unprintable and vitriolic diatribes he ruthlessly delivered on his opponents before the PDP primary, he still got roundly and summarily trounced like a pack of cards.

Having exhausted energy in maligning others instead of running issue-based campaigns, and seeing that the good people of Enugu State were unmoved by their horseplay and frolics of falsehood, these drug peddlers and treasury looters with their keypads crusaders were at it again. This time, they concocted the mendacity that Dr. Peter Mbah, gubernatorial flagbearer of the PDP, forged the NYSC certificate he presented to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). The act of infantilism was sold to some media outlets who did not bother to hold unto the ethics of the media profession such as objectivity, fairness, truth and most importantly, getting the facts right before rushing to the airwaves to “break” what was never in existence.

It is, indeed, a lie from the pit of hell as all evidence, prima facie, pointed otherwise. The then young Mbah did his NYSC in Lagos State where he served at a private law firm. There are retinue of pictorial evidence showing Mbah decked in his NYSC approved uniforms. He engaged in camp activities; drilled with the Man’O War, and other events that make camping experience memorable. At his place of primary assignment (PPA), and his community development service (CDS), plethora documentary evidence abound showing that Mbah did not only participate in the NYSC scheme, he did that with vigour and pride of being a Nigerian. He served his fatherland, Nigeria, with dedication and selflessness; both in the rain and under the sun!

His certificate, like other corps members of his time, was handed over to him at the end of his service. Whence then cometh the forgery? Such willful imagination from moronic minds. Funnily, another fake news credited to the NYSC management was also issued by these agents of darkness sponsored by the conspiring members of the opposition and propagated by their notorious recruits. In the purported fake letter attributed to the NYSC denying the authenticity of the discharge certificate, a plain reading through it will show, in the words of Barr. Nana Ogbodo, the Director of Public Communications and Spokesperson, Enugu State PDP Campaign Council, a mortifying act of “illiterate conception and daft execution” of the said letter.

Like the spokesperson further observed, those responsible for the fake news have no manifestos, no programmes for the people of the state, no single articulation of what to do if, by error, they should find themselves in power. Rather, they pick delight in fabrication of falsehood.

Perhaps, they’re still thriving in this criminal defamation and sedition capable of causing uproar and public disorder because nobody has deemed it necessary to activate the long arm of the law against them to serve as deterrence and means of sanitizing the nauseatingly polluted political atmosphere. In this regard, one Dons Eze, a likely ancestor of 90 years who, in the ordinary course of nature, should be atoning for his iniquities and making peace with his creator and humanity, as notorious of him, delved into fabricating another judgment attributed to a magistrate court in Abuja purportedly directing the inspector general of police to investigate the alleged forgery.

I found it appalling that criminal gangsters like Dons Eze, Ikem Okuhu, Ifeanyi Ogenyi, Francis Ede, Shepherd Iyioku, Solomon Eze, Sam Ugwuede, Emmanuel and others recruited by these conspirators to torment and blackmail innocent citizens, would be left to walk free the street without sanction. They’ve become a threat to democracy, orderliness, and national security and such dangerous psychosis patients should not be allowed to roam freely but kept behind the bar.

Now that Mbah is vindicated with the abundance of compelling, convincing and undisputable evidence of his innocence, can the law enforcement agencies do the needful by keeping these psychomanians out of the society and keep them where they belong; behind the bar!
